What This Means

Bad connector contact at CN91; Ice room sensor unit malfunction; Voltage reading outside 0.6V-4.6V range; Iced-solder or solder bridging; Defective MICOM input at pin #11

What actually causes this:

Ice buildup around sensor or sensor wire break inside ice compartment

First Thing to Check

Inspect ice room area for excessive frost around the sensor

How to Fix

    1. Check MAIN PCB Connector CN91 insertion

  2. 2

    2. Measure voltage between CN91-2 and CN91-1 (should be 0.6V-4.6V)

    3. Verify input voltage at IC01 MICOM pin #11

  4. 4

    4. Inspect for iced-solder or solder bridging

  5. 5

    5. Compare to temperature reference table

  6. 6

    6. Check resistance value R919 on MICOM pin #11
